Mystery Shopper & Business Audit
Discover how your business really performs when no one is watching. Trained field staff visit as ordinary customers, follow a scenario agreed with you in advance, and record what actually happened — giving you an evidence-based view of your customer experience, your employees' performance and your operational standards instead of an impression.
Service quality audit
How a customer is received, listened to and looked after, measured against the standard you set rather than a generic checklist.
- Customer greeting and reception
- Employee professionalism and attitude
- Communication skills and product explanations
- Service responsiveness and waiting times
- How complaints and objections are handled
- The overall customer experience, start to finish
Sales performance audit
Whether your sales process is actually being followed on the floor, and where revenue is lost between a customer walking in and a decision being made.
- Product and service knowledge
- Quality of the sales presentation
- Pricing transparency and what the customer is told
- Accuracy of current promotions and conditions
- Upselling and cross-selling technique
- The closing process and objection handling
- Whether the agreed customer follow-up happens
Operational compliance audit
Your standard operating procedures as they are practised, not as written — checked consistently across visits, shifts and branches.
- Compliance with company procedures and scripts
- Employee appearance and dress code
- Cleanliness and condition of the premises
- Operational readiness at opening and during peak hours
- Service consistency between shifts and branches
- Whether SOPs are known and applied
Employee integrity assessment
Conducted on your own premises, at your request, and strictly within the scope we agree in writing — a controlled purchase or service transaction, documented exactly as a customer would experience it.
- Pricing accuracy against your published price list
- Whether a receipt is issued for every transaction
- Payment handling and change given
- Compliance with your own cash and refund procedures
- Adherence to internal policies on discounts and comps
Industries we audit
Any business whose revenue depends on front-line service. Scenarios and scoring are rebuilt for each sector, because a hotel check-in and a gym membership tour fail in completely different ways.
- Restaurants and cafés
- Hotels and hospitality
- Fitness centres and gyms
- Clinics and beauty centres
- Retail stores
- Automotive showrooms and service centres
- Multi-branch businesses
- Corporate service centres and call-in counters
Why businesses bring this to an investigation firm
Mystery shopping is structured observation, which is what our field teams do every day. The difference shows in the evidence and in how the report holds up when a manager disputes it.
- A professional investigation background applied to service assessment
- Structured observation methodology, so two shoppers score the same visit the same way
- Scenarios written around your business, not a template
- Evidence-based reporting: findings tied to what was observed, with the limits stated
- Confidential handling — staff and managers are not told which visit was ours
- Quality control on every report before it reaches you
- Single-location projects and recurring multi-branch programmes
Scope, consent and the law
We audit businesses for the people who own or are authorised to assess them, and we ask you to confirm that authority before we start. Assessments stay inside the scope agreed in writing and inside Thai law, including the PDPA.
That means we observe and record a genuine customer interaction. We do not provoke staff into misconduct in order to document it, we do not install recording equipment on your premises as part of a mystery shopping assignment, and we do not gather information about employees' private lives. Where recording is restricted by law or by the venue's own rules, the report relies on the shopper's structured observation notes instead, and says so.
Timeline and pricing
A single-location audit can usually be planned and carried out within a few working days of the scenario being signed off. Recurring and multi-branch programmes run to an agreed schedule. Pricing depends on the number of locations, the number and complexity of scenarios, how many visits per location you want, and the reporting format — so you receive a written quote for the project before anything starts. There is no fixed price list, and we will not quote a figure before we understand the scope.

Frequently asked questions
What is a mystery shopper?
A mystery shopper is a trained assessor who uses your business as an ordinary customer would, without staff knowing the visit is an assessment, and then reports what happened against criteria you agreed in advance. It shows you the service your customers actually receive rather than the service your procedures describe.
How does mystery shopping work?
We start with a consultation on what you need to know, then design realistic scenarios and a scoring checklist and have you sign them off. Our shoppers carry out the visits, we review their observations and any supporting evidence, and you receive a scored report with recommendations.
Can mystery shopping evaluate employee performance?
Yes, at the level of the role and the procedure: how a customer was greeted, what was explained, whether your process was followed, whether a receipt was issued. We assess work performance within the scope you authorise, not employees' private lives, and we recommend telling your team that unannounced service audits happen as a matter of policy.
Can you audit multiple business locations?
Yes. Multi-branch programmes use one scenario and one scorecard across every location so results are comparable, and the reporting consolidates branch-by-branch scores alongside the detail for each visit. Recurring cycles let you measure whether a fix actually held.
What does a mystery shopping report include?
A report per visit, a service quality scorecard, a performance evaluation, a customer experience assessment, a visit timeline, supporting evidence where it can be gathered lawfully, prioritised recommendations and an executive summary for management.
How much does mystery shopping cost in Thailand?
There is no fixed price. A quote depends on the number of locations, how many visits each one needs, the number and complexity of scenarios, and the reporting you want. Tell us the scope and you receive a written quote for the project before any work begins.
