Detective Pulse has provided private investigation services in Thailand since 2016 for individuals, lawyers and businesses, many of them abroad. We believe good investigative work must be lawful, verifiable and reported honestly — including when the finding is "nothing unusual"
What we do
Infidelity and behaviour observation, background checks, locating people, asset tracing, online investigations and company verification. The core team is based in Bangkok and we take assignments nationwide.
The firm is led by its founder, Tommy, with a team of 17 investigators and support staff.
How we work
- Lawfully: observation in public places, open sources, field visits and documents provided by the client only, in line with Thailand's PDPA
- Honestly: we assess feasibility before accepting a case and decline work that cannot or should not be done
- Verifiably: every report records dates, times, places and sources
- Confidentially: client identity and findings are accessible only to the team responsible
- Without guarantees of outcome: we sell work to plan, not promises we cannot keep
Working with international clients
Most overseas clients brief us on WhatsApp or email, pay by international transfer, receive updates in their time zone and get the report electronically. We work in English, Thai and Chinese and regularly support foreign lawyers with Thai evidence.

Our investigators work in the field. You can arrange a briefing and choose where to meet, at your convenience — online, by phone, or in person in Bangkok.
Do you work outside Bangkok?
Yes, nationwide, with travel and accommodation itemised in the quote.
Do you work with lawyers and companies?
Yes, they are a key client group, especially for asset tracing, locating people and background checks.
How long do you keep client data?
Only as long as the assignment and our agreement require; it is deleted on schedule or on request within the law.
Our lawful scope
What we do
- Observe and document behaviour in public places
- Research open sources and records that are lawfully accessible
- Visit addresses, workplaces and business premises to verify them in person
- Check the consistency of documents and information you provide
- Deliver a written factual report with photos, video and a timeline
What we never do (no legitimate investigator can, lawfully)
- Obtain data from government, bank, credit-bureau or telecom databases
- Pull call logs, messages, phone location, bank statements or immigration records
- Hack, wiretap, install spyware, or place a GPS tracker on someone else's property
- Enter private premises or access another person's online accounts without consent
Some records (civil registry, land titles, bank accounts) are available only to parties with a legal interest through legal process or a court order. We are happy to coordinate with your lawyer.
